Korean variety shows are the perfect thing to watch when you’re looking for something light hearted, they will make you laugh like no other show! Here are some of our favorites!
Running Man
Running Man is one of the first variety shows that I have ever watched and it’s simply one of the best! Plus they had almost every single Korean Celeb you can think of featuring as guests, and yes that includes BTS and Blackpink! In each episode, they have to complete fun missions and you bet there’s always going to be a lot of twists and cheating involved! There’s never a dull moment in any of the episodes, the cast always makes it so funny and they work so well together!
sidenote: It was really sad to see the permanent member Lee Kwang leave on episode 559 but we still love the newer episodes!

Sixth Sense
Sixth Sense is a newer variety show that got created last year.We love the craziness that the girls bring and just the cast dynamics as a whole! Every week the cast are given three businesses/restaurants/places with two of the places being real and one being completely fake! After visiting the places and getting clues along the way they have to decide which place is fake, which is not always easy! Its fun guessing with them as they go along!

Sea of Hope
A new summer variety show that has all the aesthetics! Celebs live by the beach and they each have a specific job role that they have to do while staying there. On the beach there is a little seaside bar where Lee Dong Wook is in charge of the drinks,
Lee Soo Hyun sings and helps with the bar (love her magical voice!), Onew sings and bakes desserts for the bar, Lee Ji Ah is the main chef/manager, impressive Kim Go Eun dives and collects garbage from the sea and sometimes help out with the bar and
Yoon Jong Shin in charge of all things music. Some episodes features guests like Rosé from blackpink!

Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant
If you’re a foodie, you’ll love this variety show! Korean celebrities compete with each other to see who will have the best food dish, the winning dish will be put in convenience food stores where people can actually purchase them! Each episode will leave your mouth water as the celebrities experiment with different recipes trying to come up with the best!
2 Days And 1 Night
I have to admit that I only started watching 2 days and 1 night because of Kim Seon‑ho (loved him in start up!), but the show is really funny and the cast is amazing! The members takes trips throughout South Korea (generally being for 2 days and 1 night) and along the way they do fun missions and sometime they feature guests if it goes with the theme of the episodes.
