Prof. Yoon’s Korean language class

If you like learning in a structured classroom-like setting, then Prof Yoon’s classes will be perfect for you! Most of his videos follow the book integrated Korean. He also has lectured videos on the TOPIK test, which is great if you’re planning to take them!

Seemile is another youtube channel that teaches Korean in a classroom-like setting. Their videos are structured really well and they do a great job explaining things, making them easy to understand!

Talk To Me In Korean are known for their popular books that have different levels, their books cover everything from vocab to grammar and they explain everything in a really simple way, which is always a plus! They also have a variety of other books that tackle vocab and even reading comprehension. They also have a youtube channel, podcast, and a website that will help you further in your Korean language journey!

Integrated Korean is the book that we mentioned earlier that Prof Yoon uses in his lectures, the book is mainly intended for classroom use, so it could be a little difficult if you want to use it as a stand-alone but we definitely recommend you to use it along with Prof Yoon’s youtube videos.
Korean Made Simple

Korean Made simple by Go billy is the perfect beginner-friendly book that has a simple, no-fuss approach. They also have a few books after this one if you want to learn futher after completing the first. They also have a youtube channel as well as a website that gives you more material to learn from!

Quizlet
Quizliet is a learning tool website/app that’s great for making flashcards. There are already a lot of premade flashcards that were made by different users, which makes it a lot easier if you’re just starting and if you’re not in the mood to make your own!
Ankideck
Ankideck is an amazing app that also offers flashcards in a more simpler user interface, you can make your own or use ones that were already made by other people.The only downside is that you have to pay for the app if you have an IOS device but its totaly free to use on android! It is similar to quizlet but people find it more customizable and minimal compared to it.

howtostudykorean is a website that have over 158 comprehensive lessons available! Compared to talktomeinkorean, howtostudykorean is a lot more in-dept while talktomeinkorean is more on the simpler side. They’re both equally good either way and its just up to your personal preference!
Imersing yourself in korean culture!
One of the best ways to learn Korean or any language for that matter is by immersing yourself in its culture! Lucky for us there are tons of ways to do so!
Korean Dramas
Watching Korean dramas and variety shows is the perfect way to learn Korean, not only are they super entertaining but you will also pick up things that a textbook won’t teach you like mannerisms, the different dialects, and just get a general idea of Korean culture! KPOP
One of the best ways to learn vocabulary is through music! KPOP is already so popular that I’m sure you’re already a stan of some of the groups! Songs generally stick in your head, which means the vocabulary sticks! Find some songs that you generally like and look up the translation/meaning of them!

If you’re into webtoons/manga then Korean webtoons would be perfect for you, they’ll help tremendously with your reading comprehension!
